Wallkill East Rotary to plan Turkey Trot!
Wallkill East Rotary is planning a 5K Turkey Trot for Thursday, November 28, 2013. The Thanksgiving morning race will start at 8am with registration opening at 7am. The race course will begin and end at the Galleria at Crystal Run...
The cost to register (before November 7, 2013) is $20 for adults, $10 for children under 12 and $50 for a family of 4. Registration after this date and on race day will be $25 for adults, $15 for children, and $60 for a family of 4. ALL participants registered by November 7th are guaranteed a race shirt and race bib personalized with their name. All participants will also receive a fun, turkey-themed giveaway.

Turkey Trots are traditionally held on the morning of Thanksgiving and were started as a way to burn off calories before overindulging in a Thanksgiving feast. Race participants have been known to dress in turkey costumes and this race will be no different- costumes are encouraged!
