Guests: District Governor Phil Schunk; Assistant District Governor Barry Foster; Christine Rolando, Middletown Rotarian; and Dick Ploth, Ossining Rotarian
Upcoming Dates:
August 18th -- HONORehg Birthday Party, 6-8pm. See Calendar for more details.
Month of August -- We will collect school supplies at each meeting in August for the Pine Bush School District
September 25th -- Wiffle for Kids! Everyone is needed!
January 15, 2011 -- Next Rotary Blood Drive
Announcements:
We collected 19 pints at our Blood Drive on July 24th. Thanks to all who donated!
At the Board meeting, Bob Miller was accepted into the club as a transfer member. Suzanne Forni was also approved for membership.
August Duties: Speakers- Bill Bassett; Greeter- Fred Noll; Newsletter- John Fellenzer
Speaker:
Phil Schunk, District Governor spoke to our club about the upcoming year. The theme is "Building Communities, Bridging Continents. He would like us to be bigger, better, and bolder, and above all, have fun! DG Phil would like our club to obtain the Presidential Citation this year. The area of focus this year is youth- Interact, Rotaract, RYLA, and Youth Exchange.
