SPEAKER:
Amy Rodick is the Director for the Soldier & Family Assistance Center at West Point.  Amy is a 10-year veteran herself, but had to transfer out because of Crohn's Disease.  She began a new career assisting military personnel transitioning out of the service, primarily for medical reasons.  Rick Walls is a volunteer for the unit and does a lot of networking.

The unit is at West Point and currently has 47 members.  Many activities are planned, however, transportation can be the biggest obstacle.  The FDNY does monthly BBQ's for those living at the unit.  Other organizations also plan other events.  (i.e. Yankees game, breakfasts, etc.)  The unit could really use new activities during the winter months.  Rick was not soliciting monetary donations, but the club can feel free to invite these folks to events we are hosting, send them extra tickets, etc.  Rick's email is forwalls@optonline.net.

50/50:  Phil Haakmoester  (Donated money to Soldier & Family Assistance Center)
4-WAY TEST: Nick Constantino

See you next Sunday!
