The following are minutes from our January 4, 2011 meeting.

ATTENDANCE: 22 of 29 members

Dick Ploth, Ossining club; Terry Spiro, Middletown club; Allen Zoghby, Middletown club
UPCOMING DATES:
January 7th -- Board Meeting, 7:30am, Horton Pavilion
January 9th -- Defensive Driving (Rotaract fundraiser), 9am-3:30pm, Coldwell Banker Training Center, Middletown. Contact Nick to sign up.
January 30th -- 2nd annual Pancake Breakfast. Final ticket push- sell, sell, sell!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Middletown club will not meet on Jan. 17th due to MLK holiday. We may have a joint meeting with them on the 18th. Bela will keep us posted.
Bill Bassett sent around a sign-up sheet for coverage at the Interact meetings the next 4 weeks. Thanks to those members who signed up to help. As always, everyone is always welcome. Interact meets on Tuesdays at 2:30pm at Pine Bush High School.
A sign-up sheet was passed around for the Pancake Breakfast. We need help with set-up on Saturday 1/29 and help running the event on Sunday 1/30. Please contact Mike S. to sign-up.
SPEAKER(S):
Steve Plain led the group in reflecting on our membership over the last 6 months and thinking about what we can do in the next 6. Some club stats: 2 members have been in club less than one year; most members have participated in community, vocational, international, and club service; and most members are involved in more than one avenue of service. In the next 6 months, why not try a make-up through the new e-club or invite just 1 person as a guest or potential member to one of our meetings. Let them see all the great things we do!
