The United Way focuses on working with local youth (Big Brothers Big Sisters & Boys and Girls Club), family discount cards, 211 program, emergency food and shelter programs, clothing donations, income tax preparation assistance with AARP, Orange County Fuel Fund, and the Orange County Women's Leadership Fund. The UW's campaign kicked off in September and they are currently running a "12-4-10" fundraiser on facebook. Judy also informed the club that the merger with the UW in Dutchess County is underway.
